Various Stones - Which calls to you?

All stones are ethically sourced, with most supply coming from the Central and South America regions. The sale of this jewellery supports independent artisans and crafters in the Yucatan Peninsula, Sacred Mayan land, to be able to continue their work. How do you really know something is ethical and fair trade? Well, we have met the makers and collected the finished product from them in person, ourselves. In fact, we met at a local market and we fell in love immediately. We knew we had to work together for future designs! Marcelino has been creating and teaching his talents for over 20 years. 

The jewellery is created with hypoallergenic hooks, crystal gems and German silver with copper, hand hammered by our partner, Marcelino. it contains some hypoallergenic properties and is made from repurposed metals. It is strong, highly resistant to tarnishing, and comes with its own unique look. Every item is one of a kind, and the design is channelled when production begins. 

To care for your piece, you may occasionally wish to simply wash it with soap and water and pat dry afterwards. You can also sometimes polish it with a brass cleaner for added shine, although we also feel the rustic and worn texture has a certain charm and appeal of its own.
